Muscat: The Royal Navy of Oman will celebrate the presentation of the 13th edition of the Sultan Qaboos Sailing Award the day after tomorrow in an official ceremony to be held in Muscat Governorate.
The Sultan Qaboos Sailing Award is considered one of the most prestigious international accolades in the field of sailing. It promotes the message of peace and coexistence, honoring Oman’s rich maritime heritage and continuing the legacy of the nation’s historic seafaring achievements. The award also aims to strengthen historical and cultural ties between the Sultanate of Oman and countries around the world, while playing a vital role in advancing global training in the sport of sailing.
