
Muscat: Former Indian Social Club (ISC) chairman Dr Satish Nambiar passed away in India on Thursday morning.
According to a senior ISC official Nambiar passed away after a brief illness in a hospital in Mangalore. The former Chairman of the Indian Social Club of Oman, Dr. Nambiar was credited to be a father figure in the ISC circle and served the Indian diaspora in the Sultanate for many decades.
In a message, ISC extended their condolences.
"We are deeply saddened by the loss of our former chairman Dr. Satish Nambiar, who left us today. His vision, dedication, and unwavering commitment to excellence have shaped and inspired all of us. Dr. Nambiar was not only a remarkable leader but also a guiding light whose wisdom and values will continue to live on in our hearts and in the work he championed," a statement from ISC said.
