Over 10,000 religious, educational, and outreach activities implemented in Muscat

Muscat: During the holy month of Ramadan, the Directorate General of Endowments and Religious Affairs in Muscat Governorate implemented over 10,000 religious, educational, and outreach activities.

 These activities encompassed a variety of programs, including leading prayers, delivering lessons, lectures, sermons, courses, and Quranic study circles, in addition to outreach programs for non-Arabic speaking communities and the deaf community.

These diverse programs aimed to raise awareness and educate people about their religion, introduce them to virtues, faith, and acts of worship, teach the Quran and its sciences to youth and other segments of society, and promote citizenship, authentic Omani values, ethics, customs, and traditions.

 The programs, which targeted over 15,000 participants from the public and private sectors and civil society organizations, sought to cultivate responsible citizenship and a society proud of its religious and national identity.
