Ibra: The activities of the Family and Child Traffic Forum commenced today in the Wilayat of Ibra, North A’Sharqiyah Governorate, under the theme "Towards a Safe Traffic Generation."
The three-day event is organized by the Traffic Safety Committee at the Royal Court Affairs, in cooperation with the Office of the Governor of North A’Sharqiyah, and with the participation of 14 government, academic, and private institutions.
The forum aims to enhance traffic awareness among children and families by providing innovative educational and awareness programs. These initiatives seek to establish traffic safety concepts as a daily behavior and a sustainable lifestyle, thereby contributing to accident reduction and the promotion of road safety.
Inaugurated under the auspices of Mahmoud Yahya Al Dhohli, Governor of North A’Sharqiyah, the forum includes a series of interactive activities and competitions directed at children.
These activities utilize a "learning by practice" approach, transforming traffic regulations and rules into sensory and applied experiences to effectively convey awareness messages in simplified ways suitable for various age groups.
Additionally, the forum features an accompanying seminar designed to strengthen the integration between institutional and educational roles in disseminating a culture of traffic safety. The seminar aims to produce practical recommendations that help instill this culture within the family and society, supporting the development of a generation conscious of traffic rules and capable of contributing to a safe traffic environment.
