Oman and Somalia to boost cooperation in food security

Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman and the Federal Republic of Somalia discussed available investment opportunities to expand the horizons of partnership and achieve mutual interests between the two countries.

This took place during a session of talks held by Dr. Saud Hamoud Al Habsi, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources, with Abdusalam Abdi Ali, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Republic of Somalia, and his accompanying delegation, within the framework of his current official visit to the Sultanate of Oman.

The session addressed a number of topics of common interest and reviewed avenues to strengthen cooperation and exchange expertise between the two sides, particularly in the field of food security.
