Muscat: The Rustaq College of Education will host the 17th Rangers Camp of the University of Technology and Applied Sciences from 1 to 4 May 2026, under the theme “Sifah, Towards Sustainable Shores.” The event will bring together more than 60 female rangers representing various UTAS branches.
This gathering reflects the university’s commitment to strengthening student activities as a platform for developing students’ leadership and social skills. It represents an important educational pathway that promotes teamwork, initiative, and community responsibility.
The event also highlights the university’s support for empowering Omani women and encouraging their active participation across different fields, in line with national priorities that recognise women as key partners in development and leadership initiatives.
The program will feature a diverse range of activities, including exploratory trips and sports events. It will also include initiatives aimed at raising environmental awareness and promoting sustainability concepts, enriching participants’ experiences and providing opportunities to develop new skills.
The gathering is expected to strengthen communication and exchange of experiences among rangers from different UTAS branches, while reinforcing cooperation and the role of the Rangers Camp in preparing young leaders capable of contributing to sustainable development.
