Oman hails appointment of Ali Al-Zaidi as PM of Iraq

Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman has welcomed the appointment of Ali Al-Zaidi as Prime Minister of the Republic of Iraq and the formation of the new government.

Oman extended its best wishes for his success in serving the aspirations of the Iraqi people. In a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry today, the Sultanate of Oman reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation across all fields in a manner that serves the joint interests.
