President Zardari , PM Shehbaz Sharif pray for peace, prosperity on Eid-ul-Azha

LAHORE: President Asif Ali Zardari  and Prime Minister (PM) Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday offered Eid-ul-Azha prayers along with other dignitaries.

The president prayed for the country’s security, progress and prosperity. After the Eid prayers, President Asif Ali Zardari exchanged Eid greetings with citizens and dignitaries.

A large number of citizens attended the Eid-ul-Azha gathering at Zardari House.

Deputy Speaker National Assembly Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah, Provincial Minister Ali Hassan Zardari, Zia-ul-Hassan Lanjar and Ashiq Hussain Zardari also offered Eid prayers at Zardari House.

Mayor Nawabshah Rashid Bhatti, Deputy Mayor Mubashir Arain, elected representatives and senior officials also participated in the Eid-ul-Azha prayers.

Special prayers were offered on the occasion for the country’s solidarity and prosperity, unity among the Muslim Ummah, and peace in the region.

After offering Eid prayers, the PM mingled with citizens and party workers, exchanged Eid greetings and extended warm wishes to the people celebrating the religious festival.
