Boston: Scotland opened their 2026 World Cup campaign with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Haiti in Boston today in their Group Three opener.
John McGinn scored the only goal of the match in the 28th minute, securing three valuable points for his side in a group that also features Morocco and Brazil, who earlier played out a 1-1 draw.
Scotland top Group Three with three points, two clear of Morocco and Brazil, while Haiti remain without a point.
Scotland will face Morocco on 20 June 2026 in their second group-stage match, while Haiti take on Brazil the same day.
