Lulu has expanded its retail footprint in Oman with the opening of a new hypermarket in Al Hail, bringing its shopping experience closer to residents of one of Muscat’s rapidly growing communities.
The hypermarket was inaugurated by H.E. Ibtisam bint Ahmed Al Farouji, Undersecretary for Investment Promotion at the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, in the presence of Yusuffali M.A., Chairman of Lulu Group, senior government officials and other dignitaries.
Speaking on the occasion, the Undersecretary said “The opening of a new branch of the global LuLu Group represents a valuable addition to the Sultanate of Oman’s retail sector and reflects investors’ confidence in the attractiveness of the Omani market and the opportunities it offers for growth and expansion. At the Ministry, we remain committed to supporting high-value investments that contribute to economic diversification, strengthen supply chains, and generate added value for the national economy, in line with the objectives of Oman Vision 2040.”

Strategically located in Al Hail, the new 76,973 sq. ft. hypermarket offers a comprehensive shopping experience with groceries and everyday essentials, fresh fruits and vegetables, meat and seafood, bakery products and freshly prepared food.
The store also features dedicated sections for electronics, home appliances, mobile phones, smart TVs, laptops and household products, bringing a broad selection of food and non-food categories under one roof.
Designed for convenient shopping, the hypermarket features modern retail facilities along with ample parking, providing easy access for residents of Al Hail and surrounding communities.
The latest opening forms part of Lulu’s ongoing expansion in Oman as the retailer continues to strengthen its network and bring its shopping experience closer to customers across the Sultanate.
