Ibra-- The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources launched a project to establish a fish market in the Wilayat of Ibra, North A’Sharqiyah Governorate. The project constitues part of efforts to boost trade and activate the seafood sales sector.
Dr. Anwar Nasser Al Saadi, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Water Resources in Ibra, said that steps are underway to develop fish markets to meet the needs of consumers, expand investment in the fisheries sector and provide employment opportunities for the national workforce.
The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources supervises eight fish markets across wilayats of North A’Sharqiyah governorate.
