Al Rustaq: The Women's Education and Guidance Centre in South Al Batinah Governorate, under the Department of Endowments and Religious Affairs, has recorded a series of qualitative achievements during the first half of 2025.

These accomplishments underscore the center’s vital role in empowering women and promoting religious, cultural, and social awareness through a comprehensive range of programmes and initiatives targeting various segments of society.

In the field of Quranic education, the centre supervised 113 Quran memorisation schools, with 4,281 male and female students enrolled. The “Noor" project for qualifying female Quran memorisers continued its progress, recording 310 participants, 33 of whom completed memorizing the entire Quran. Additionally, the center conducted 353 supervisory visits to Quranic schools and achieved 7 diverse educational milestones.

In awareness and guidance programmes, the centre witnessed significant turnout from various community segments, reflecting strong public engagement with its initiatives and its pioneering role in promoting Islamic values and religious awareness.

For development and training, the centre organised 140 training courses with 8,042 beneficiaries, along with 60 weekly developmental programmes and 25 specialised training programmes, all aimed at enhancing individual skills and strengthening women’s role in society.

Emphasising community partnership, the centre carried out 49 activities in public schools and organized 106 diverse events benefiting 6,493 individuals, reinforcing its active presence in the social and educational spheres.

As part of its efforts to expand access to its programmes, the “Himam" e-learning platform continues its pioneering role in broadcasting lectures, lessons, and interactive sessions via video conferencing across South Al Batinah Governorate and beyond.

“Himam Platform" is one of the centre’s flagship projects, enabling women and girls to pursue continuous learning and stay updated with scholarly and advocacy developments using modern technology. The platform has broadcasted dozens of sessions and courses in Sharia sciences, education, and life skills, delivering academic content to participants in their homes and remote areas. It has also attracted diverse groups of women, offering educational, academic, and family-oriented programmes for students and university attendees, making it a comprehensive platform that combines meaningful content, engaging delivery, and wide accessibility. The centre invites everyone to follow the platform and benefit from its diverse programmes.
