Muscat: The Thai Embassy in Muscat, in collaboration with the Tourism Authority of Thailand, the Thai Trade Office, Thai companies, and the Thai community in Oman, invites the local community in Oman to participate in the annual event “Thailand Festival in Oman 2025”, which will be held from August 28 to 30, 2025, at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre, Ground Floor, Atrium.
Admission is free and organised by Almustaqaf Business. The local community will enjoy the Thai films “The Gift,” “Under the Wings of Dreams,” and “Letter from the Sun,” as well as Thai cultural performances by Burnett Thailand, featuring nine acts including “Sound of Lanna,” “Bangkok Joy,” “Southern Breeze,” “Amazing Thailand,” “Candlelight in Chiang Mai,” “Flavors of Isaan,” “Pink Lotus,” “Loy Kra Thong Sukhothai,” and “Songkran Water Festival.”
The festival will begin on Thursday, August 28, from 3:30 PM to 10:00 PM, and continue on Friday and Saturday, August 29 and 30, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
Also, there will be famous authentic Thai foods, including Pad Thai, Tom Yum Kung, Som Tam, and many other Thai dishes, as well as delicious Thai ice cream, dried fruits, and desserts.
There will also be a Do it yourself (DIY) workshop on “Painting a Bo Sang Umbrella” and children’s activities.
