International workshop on natural disaster management concludes

Muscat: The international workshop on disaster management, organized by the National Centre for Emergency Management in cooperation with the Emergency and Military Affairs Department of the U.S. State of Arizona, concluded today.

The 5-day workshop aimed to enhance the level of preparedness and develop coordination and cooperation mechanisms among the components of the National Committee for Emergency Management, as well as to exchange expertise and experiences on international best practices in dealing with natural disasters.
