MUSCAT: The Government of India has issued a new advisory requiring all foreign nationals travelling to India to complete an E-Arrival Card before arrival.
The digital entry form is designed to speed up immigration procedures at Indian airports and ensure a smoother entry process for international visitors.
International guests are urged to fill out the online form up to 72 hours prior to departure to avoid delays upon arrival. The requirement applies to all non-Indian citizens, including tourists, business travellers, and other international guests, regardless of their airline or point of origin.
Oman Air, which operates flights between Muscat and multiple Indian cities, has alerted its passengers to the advisory, emphasising that completing the E-Arrival Card in advance will help ensure a hassle-free journey. The airline, a member of the Oneworld alliance, said it continues to provide updates on the latest travel regulations to assist international travelers.
Officials noted that the E-Arrival Card collects essential travel and health information digitally, supporting India’s efforts to maintain efficient and secure airport operations. International visitors are encouraged to check official government sources for any additional requirements before flying.
