Muscat: With reference to the circular issued by the Ministry of Labour regarding the extension of the grace period granted for rectifying statuses and settling fines and financial obligations recorded against individuals and employers until 31 December 2025, the Royal Oman Police calls upon all concerned categories to take advantage of this final additional grace period and to regularize their status in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations.
First: Foreign nationals wishing to regularise their status by renewing their residence permits or transferring their employment within the Sultanate of Oman shall be exempted from all fines resulting from the expiry of their entry or residence permits (for holders of work residence permits), after verification of their status correction by the Ministry of Labour.
Second: Wishing to leave the Sultanate of Oman permanently shall be exempted from all fines resulting from the termination of all types of non-work-related visa
