Mounted Police Command bags forst place in National Day Tent Pegging Cup Championship

Muscat: The Mounted Police Command achieved first place in the team category at the National Day Tent Pegging Cup Championship, organised by the Oman Equestrian and Racing Federation on November 24th and 25th, 2025, with the participation of several government stables.

This victory was a culmination of the outstanding performance of the Mounted Police Command team, which included Warrant Officer Waleed bin Zahir Al-Shariqi, Sergeant First Class Dawood bin Ajab Al-Mushrafi, Sergeant First Class Salem bin Khamis Al-Harthi, and Sergeant First Class Hussein bin Ali Al-Hosni.

The team presented remarkable displays that demonstrated high skill and precision in the use of the sword and spear and in tent pegging.
