Muscat: The Oman–India Business Forum highlighted investment opportunities in the Sultanate of Oman during a meeting held in Muscat on Thursday, in the presence of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The forum aimed to strengthen the economic partnership between the two friendly nations by expanding cooperation horizons and opening new channels of collaboration between the public and private sectors.
The meeting was attended by Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, and Faisal Abdullah Al Rowas, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI), along with a number of officials and business leaders.
On the Indian side, the meeting was attended by Dr. S. Jaishankar, Minister of External Affairs; Piyush Goyal, Minister of Commerce and Industry; and Ajit Doval, National Security Advisor.
