Four Yemeni nationals held with drugs in Dhofar

Muscat: Coast Guard Police patrols, led by the Dhofar Governorate Police, apprehended a boat carrying four Yemeni nationals after it illegally entered Omani territorial waters. 

The suspects were found in possession of quantities of narcotics intended for smuggling and trafficking.

In another incident, Directorate General for the Control of Drugs and Psychotropic Substances , led by the South Al Batinah Governorate Police, arrested an individual in the Wilayat of Barka in possession of quantities of crystal meth, marijuana, and hashish, along with tablets of psychotropic substances intended for trafficking and personal use.

Legal procedures against all the above suspects are currently being completed.
