Muscat: In a powerful demonstration of healthcare integration and decentralised medical response, a collaborative effort between Samail Hospital and the Royal Hospital successfully saved the life of a critically ill patient.

Royal Hospital: “Upon receiving an emergency alert, a multidisciplinary surgical team from the Royal Hospital was immediately dispatched to Samail Hospital, fully equipped to assess and stabilize the patient on-site. Working closely with the local medical staff, the team conducted a field evaluation of the patient’s condition.”

“Due to the severity of the case, an urgent transfer to Muscat was arranged. There, the patient underwent a successful surgical procedure and is now reported to be recovering well,” the hospital.

This case highlights the efficiency of Oman's national medical teams and underscores the vital role of institutional partnerships in delivering life saving care.
