Five Yemeni nationals arrested with drugs in Dhofar

Salalah: The Coast Guard Police of the Dhofar Governorate Police Command arrested five Yemeni nationals while they were illegally entering Omani territorial waters and attempting to smuggle quantities of drugs into the country via a fishing boat with the intent to traffic them.

Legal procedures against the suspects are currently being completed.

Asian national arrested

The Directorate of Combating Drugs and Psychotropic Substances, led by the South Al Batinah Governorate Police Command, apprehended an individual of Asian nationality after he concealed a quantity of crystal meth and psychotropic substance tablets inside a fishing boat with the intent to traffic and use them. Legal procedures against him are currently being finalized.
