Muscat: The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth is organising a workshop on managing sports events. The workshop, which kicked off on Monday, runs until11 February 2026. It is attended by 30 members of sports committees entrusted with the affairs of people with disabilities.
The workshop aims to empower sports committees tasked with empowering people with disabilities by providing the panels with professional skills in a manner that contributes to raising the quality of sports programmes and activities, highlighting the abilities of athletes and consolidating institutional partnerships between sports establishments and social institutions.
The workshop programme includes lectures on the management of sports events and the technical aspects of forming national teams dedicated to people with disabilities.
