ROP urges public to adhere to safety measures as Eid holidays approach

Muscat : The Royal Oman Police(ROP) has called upon citizens and residents to exercise awareness and responsibility while driving during these days leading up to Eid al-Fitr, which witness increased activity in markets and traffic congestion on the roads.

It also emphasises the need of adhere to traffic safety rules and pay attention while travelling during the Eid holiday. Public is also urged to avoid any disruption to public order, endangering the safety of others, or disturbing them by refraining from dangerous behaviours such as racing, drifting, showing off, and installing non-compliant exhaust systems on vehicles.
