Al Maha to launch first vehicle inspection services centre on Tuesday

Muscat: Al Maha for Technical Inspection will launch this Tuesday the first vehicle inspection services center under its brand "Tajdeed", at the premises of the Oman Automobile Association. This follows the completion of accreditation procedures by the Royal Oman Police for the first privately operated vehicle technical inspection station, as part of an initiative aimed at engaging private sector establishments to expand the scope of vehicle inspection services and offer them across varied time slots.

The establishment of the company results from a strategic partnership between Al Maha Petroleum Products Marketing Company and the Royal Oman Police, aimed at delivering advanced technical inspection services according to the highest standards of quality, efficiency and safety. This initiative contributes to enhancing road safety and raising the standard of services provided to the community.

Eng. Hamad Salim Al Maghdari, Partner Assembly Chairman and Managing Director of the company, affirmed that the launch of "Tajdeed" brand reflects the company’s commitment to developing vehicle technical inspection services and offering a more reliable and seamless experience, keeping pace with rapid developments in the transport and technical services sector.

In a statement to Oman News Agency (ONA), he added that the new center represents the first of the company’s projects in this field, as it seeks to enhance the efficiency of the technical inspection system by applying best practices and approved standards, thereby supporting national efforts aimed at improving road safety.

He also noted that Al Maha for Technical Inspection plans to expand its services by opening new branches and technical inspection centers across various governorates of the Sultanate of Oman, in a bid to facilitate customer access to its services.
