Qatar factory explosion leaves 54 injured, 18 missing

Qatar: An internal explosion caused by a technical malfunction during operations at a factory in Ras Laffan Industrial City has left 54 people injured, according to the Qatari Ministry of Interior.

The ministry said search operations are ongoing for 18 missing persons, with the Qatar International Search and Rescue Group of the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) working alongside Civil Defence teams to locate those unaccounted for.
