Rabat: The Sultanate of Oman explored the pioneering experiences and successful practices of the Kingdom of Morocco in the fields of training, qualification, and research relating to judicial, legal, and academic work.

This came during the official visit paid by Dr. Abdullah Mohammed Al Saidi, Minister of Justice and Legal Affairs to the Kingdom of Morocco.

The visit included a number of specialised scientific and training institutions in the capital, Rabat.

During this visit, the Minister was briefed on the approved training and qualification system, the specialised academic and research programmes, and the mechanisms for preparing and qualifying personnel working in the legal and judicial professions, in a manner that contributes to the development of the judicial work system.

This step comes within the framework of the two countries’ keenness to enhance cooperation and exchange expertise in the judicial, legal, and academic fields, reflecting the depth of the bilateral relations.

It supports the paths of partnership and mutual cooperation in various areas of shared interest. Furthermore, it aligns with both sides’ orientation toward enhancing cooperation in the fields of training, qualification, and the exchange of expertise, in light of the memorandum of understanding signed by the two countries regarding the training and qualification of lawyers, legal professionals, and experts.
