
Muscat: Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Oman’s Foreign Minister, received a copy of the credentials of Prashant Pise, the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of India to the Sul-tanate of Oman, at the Ministry’s General Diwan on Friday.
During the meeting, the Foreign Minister wel-comed the ambassador and conveyed his best wishes for success in his diplomatic mission. He also expressed hope that the longstanding friend-ly relations between Oman and India would con-tinue to grow and prosper across various fields.
The meeting was attended by Ambassador Sheikh Ahmed bin Hashel Al Maskari, Head of the De-partment of Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf and Regional Neighborhood at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Najib bin Yahya Al Balushi, Head of the Department of Protocol, along with a number of officials from both sides.
The presentation of credentials marks the formal commencement of Ambassador Pise’s diplomatic assignment in Oman, reflecting the continued strength of ties between the two countries.
