
Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) today launched the "Strategic Leadership for Digital Transformation" program at the Officers’ Institute of the Sultan Qaboos Academy for Police Sciences.
The program’s opening ceremony was held under the auspices of General Sultan Mohammed Al Nu'amani, Minister of the Royal Office and Head of the Office of the Supreme Commander, in the presence of Lt. General Hassan Mohsin Al Shuraiqi, Inspector General of Police and Customs, and a number of senior officers.
The implementation of the program, which is organized by the Royal Oman Police in cooperation with leading international expertise houses, embodies the keenness of the General Command of Police to build advanced leadership capabilities in the fields of digital transformation, employ the latest technological advancements to develop the security work system, and raise readiness to keep pace with rapid changes and future requirements.
It also aims to enable participants to utilize modern technologies and smart data to support security decision-making, and to develop change, innovation, and foresight skills to enhance institutional efficiency.
The Strategic Leadership for Digital Transformation program at the Royal Oman Police also supports consolidating the integration between security and technical aspects, and enhancing institutional capabilities to address digital challenges and cybersecurity requirements, thereby contributing to the advancement of sophisticated smart systems.
