Conference aims to exchange expertise to achieve sustainable development

Salalah: The Arab Towns Organization discussed developing the work of the organization's institutions and enhancing their role in empowering Arab cities, smart cities, the digital environment, and cybersecurity for a safe urban future, alongside the future of sustainable urban mobility in Arab cities.

This came during the 64th executive meeting of the organization, held today in Dhofar Governorate on the sidelines of the 20th Arab Towns Organization Conference, scheduled to take place tomorrow at the Sultan Qaboos Youth Complex for Culture and Entertainment in Salalah under the theme "More Innovative and Sustainable Cities".

Organized by Dhofar Municipality in cooperation with the Arab Towns Organization and featuring the participation of 22 Arab and Islamic countries, the conference aims to exchange expertise to achieve sustainable development and discuss a number of topics related to urban development, digital transformation of cities, elevating quality of life, challenges facing Arab cities, and the future of urban development.
