National team bags 5 gold medals in World Fitness and Bodybuilding Championships

Barcelona--- The Omani National Body Building and Physique team secured a new achievement for the Omani Sports records. The team bagged 5 gold medals in World Fitness and Bodybuilding Championships for professionals and amateurs. The championship held in Barcelona, Spain, was concluded today with a participation of more than 1,800 players from different countries.

The achievement occurred with the team players’ exceptional performance. Ahmed Al Hasani bagged 2 gold medals. Meanwhile, the first gold medal he secured is 1st place in the division of master in bodybuilding (weight above 95 kg - age group 40-44), the second is for the 1st place in the bodybuilding division (weight 95 kg.)

Moreover, the team continued securing first places as Khalid Al Shukaili bagged the third 1st place gold medal in the bodybuilding division (weight 80 kg.), and Abdulmajeed Al Raisi won the forth 1st place gold medal in the physique division (height above 176 cm). Finally, Nasr Al Wahaibi concluded the winning streak by securing the fifth 1st place gold medal in the muscular physique division.
