HM the Sultan visits Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Islamic Treasures Hall

Bandar Seri Begawan : His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, accompanied by Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei Darussalam, visited today the Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Islamic Treasures Hall (Balai Khazanah Islam Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah) in the capital, Bandar Seri Begawan.

Upon His Majesty the Sultan’s arrival at the Treasures Hall, he was received by Prince Abdul Mateen ibni Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, alongside several senior officials.

On the sidelines of the visit, His Majesty the Sultan and the Sultan of Brunei Darussalam struck a brass gong in accordance with Bruneian traditions, marking the official opening of the Omani-Bruneian Photographic Exhibition. The exhibition documents aspects of the deep-rooted historical relations linking the two friendly nations, as well as the ongoing cooperation and partnership across various fields.

His Majesty the Sultan subsequently viewed photographs documenting key milestones in the trajectory of bilateral relations between the two countries, reflecting the depth of historical ties and mutual understanding between the two friendly peoples.

At the conclusion of the visit, a commemorative photograph was taken of His Majesty the Sultan and the Sultan of Brunei Darussalam, in the presence of members of the official Omani delegation and senior Bruneian officials.
