Sayyid Badr discusses regional developments with Cypriot counterpart

Muscat: Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, on Wednesday received a phone call from Dr. Constantinos Kombos, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus.

The discussion covered ties of cooperation between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Cyprus, as well as the rapid developments taking place in the region.

The two ministers exchanged views about ongoing diplomatic efforts aimed to contain tensions, prevent the restart of military confrontations and consolidate regional and international coordination with the aim of backing peaceful solutions and sparing the region and the world from further crises and related repercussions.
