Two citizens arrested in Bidiyah for risky wadi crossing

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police has referred two Omani citizens to the competent judicial authorities after they attempted to cross a wadi in Bidiyah, resulting in their vehicles being swept away by strong currents.

According to police, the incident put not only their lives at risk but also endangered the safety of rescue teams involved in the operation. The individuals have been referred for legal proceedings in accordance with applicable laws.

The Royal Oman Police reiterated its warning to motorists against attempting to cross flooded wadis, stressing that such actions pose serious risks to lives and property.
