Sanad Service Centers record over 131,000 transactions in Q1 of 2026

Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman’s Oman News Agency reported that Sanad Service Centers processed more than 131,000 transactions during the first quarter of 2026, highlighting improved efficiency and growing public trust in service quality.

The performance reflects ongoing efforts to streamline procedures for citizens, entrepreneurs, and investors through a network of 922 centers across Oman. These centres have also generated 2,264 job opportunities and are operated by Omani entrepreneurs within the small and medium enterprises sector, offering integrated e-government services.

Mohammed bin Salem Al Mashaikhi, Director of Sanad Service Centres at the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion, said the results demonstrate the centres’ key role in enhancing public services, empowering SMEs, and improving customer experience.

He noted that the ministry continues to invest in national workforce development through specialised training programs. Around 815 trainees participated in initiatives focused on service delivery skills and customer communication, contributing to faster transactions and higher satisfaction levels. Additionally, 213 field visits were conducted in Q1 to ensure compliance and service quality.

Al Mashaikhi added that the ministry is working to expand and enhance services offered at Sanad centers in coordination with government and private entities, including strengthening technical integration and introducing new services aligned with digital transformation goals.

He emphasised that Sanad Service Centres support the objectives of Oman Vision 2040 by improving access to government services, creating employment for Omani youth, and reinforcing their role as a national model for digital and economic development.
