
Muscat: Oman's Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has approved Air Tanzania to operate direct flights between Muscat and the Tanzanian cities of Dar es Salaam and Zanzibar, further strengthening air connectivity between the two countries.
Under the approval, the airline will operate three weekly flights on the Muscat–Dar es Salaam–Zanzibar route, with services scheduled to commence on 25 July 2026.
The new route is expected to facilitate travel for tourists, business travelers, and the Tanzanian community in Oman, while enhancing tourism, trade, and economic cooperation between Oman and Tanzania.
